Visit from both sides of the family

Jeff's brother and family as well as my sister and family flew out for Jeff's graduation. We're so grateful that they set aside time and money to help us celebrate this very special time for our family.

My sister in law, Erin, spent much of her visit cutting hair. She's so good that none of us could resist taking full advantage of her being there. Thanks again Erin!


A second visit to Mandarach

After Jeff's graduation, we decided to take short trip to Manhattan. We had been there several times before but this was our first time taking a double decker bus tour! I thought it was totally worth the money! We were able to see all of New York in 2 hours. The best part?? The kids slept on our laps for most of it!

Hayley developed a fascination and obsession with hair during this trip. Thank goodness her cousin Megan doesn't mind!

Times Square! You know what's crazy?? Dragging 5 kids under the age of 5 around downtown New York. Wouldn't recommend it.

The next day we spent almost the entire day in Central Park. It's absolutely gorgeous!

In between graduation and packing and moving our house, Ethan decided to have a birthday. My sister and brother in law were nice enough to throw him a 5th birthday party that can never be forgotten!

We had multiple themes this time around...pirate pinata, star wars supplies, and a spiderman cake. (basically whatever was on sale...) It was a blast nonetheless! Thanks Greenhalgh's!

Sadly, the trip had to come to an end. Thanks so much to everyone that came out to support Jeff for his graduation!

Dr. Gregerson

Can't believe it! Graduation day finally came.........and went so quickly that I could barely take it all in. 4 years (actually 8 including undergraduate school) of build up all came down to this day. Graduation was held at the Academy of Music in Center City, Philadelphia. A few colorful jokes and a politically incorrect (but funny) speech later, Jeff morphed from a student doctor to an official Dr. in a matter of seconds. Here's a little video of the moment:

It's hard to believe that when we started this dental school journey that we only had Ethan and he was just over a year old.

A few nights before graduation, Jeff and I attended the senior dinner at the Charthouse in Penn's Landing. It was great to be able to see everybody before we all separate across the country.

Some of the wives...I think we'll always have a unique connection having gone through this together.

Dr. Jeffrey Boyd Gregerson, DMD

Jeff, words cannot begin to describe how proud of you we are. I get emotional every time I think about the roller coaster ride we've been through over the last 4 years. You worked your tail off and finished with your honor and your integrity still in tact. I'm so grateful for your dedication to do and to be your best....always. We love you! Congrats!

Still alive and kicking

It's been forever since my last blog. I wish I could say it was because of some amazing exotic trip we've been on for the last month but instead I'm sorry to report that I've had another round of sickness hit my home. This time, one of my worst fears came to fruition: 3 sick kids and a sick husband. It was a nightmare. There was a day where all of my kids were crying for me and my undivided attention and there just wasn't enough of me to go around. I went almost a week without sleep (literally only 20 min of sleep a night) because of cleaning up throw up or medicating fevers, consoling crying kids in pain.....it was the worst. Then, out of the blue, Jeff started to complain of really severe headaches. The guy rarely gets sick. In fact, he hasn't seen his doctor the entire time we've lived here. His headaches were so bad that he was puking through the night. The next day, the doctor said he thought Jeff might have a leaking aneurism or possible viral meningitis. What?? I was freaking out. We were literally a week away from graduation and our family was going through our own personal hell!

Now for the good news: Jeff and the kids are doing much better. Jeff's cat scan and bloodwork came out okay and the doctor still has no idea what caused him to get so sick. Everyone is on the mend and we are 2 days away from Jeff's big day. My parents, sister and her family and Jeff's brother and family are all here for graduation. Our house is under contract and we are scheduled to close on June 15th. We found a house to rent closer to Philly and are planning on moving in on June 10th. Things are all falling into place but it has been a crazy couple of months. Here are a few pics of what we've been up to over the last few months:
