Vacation Part II -Las Vegas!!

The 2nd half of our trip brought us to my parents house in Henderson, NV. Not a lot of narrating necessary.....just lots of time spent relaxing, swimming, eating and sleeping. What more could anyone ask for?

Rough life but somebody's gotta live it!

Brooklyn is obsessed with splashing. My other kids turned away from a splash in their face when they were her age. Not Brooklyn....the more water...the better.

Already practicing her golf skills

This picture says it all

What's better than swimming? Swimming with a popcicle in hand!

Hayley getting a makeup lesson from Aunt Shanda

I'd say she did a pretty good job for her first lesson!

Thanks to my parents, we were able to escape to the strip for an evening without the kids.

My kids with papa and grandma

Watching the golfers from the edge of the pool. This picture cracks me up!

I had to document Brooklyn's mode of transportation for the last 3 months. She refuses to crawl. I get dizzy everytime I watch her.

Trip to Utah

June 10, 2009

Before I go into our trip to Utah, I cannot forget to mention that we have finally moved. We sold our house in Limerick and moved into a twin home closer to Philadelphia. Since Jeff is on call 1 week a month, we needed to make the move so that he was within a 20 minute drive to the hospital. So far, we love our new area and ward. Jeff's residency is only 2 years so I know the time will fly by!

My sister, niece and nephew flew out to help us move. I don't know if we could have done it without them! Thanks Shan, T & K!

Our house has hardwood floors throughout the entire place. They were sticky and disgusting when we moved in. It took 3 of us over 2 hours just to clean the main floor! Notice the color of the water in the bucket. Yuck!!

Just an adorable picture of my neice, Kelsey. I love this girl!

Trip to Utah

Fortunately, we were able to squeeze in some time to take a vacation in between moving and Jeff starting his residency. We began our trip in Utah. It was a little crazy getting there since we flew all 5 of us standby, but totally worth it once we got there.

We spent Father's Day and my niece's birthday with my parents, the Foster's, and the Palmer's. Excellent food and entertainment! My niece got a rip stick for her birthday so we spent many hours trying to master it. Have you ever tried one of those things? They're crazy hard! It's way fun once you get the hang of it though.

The following day, we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was amazing!

The whole gang (minus my sister Stacy and her family) in front of the Temple
Other then spending time with family, we were fortunate to see our great friends, the Yeats. Their little guy, Zach, is simply to die for!

Hayley and Ethan enjoying the outdoors on the porch

Don't you love the do? I think it goes well with the shoes!

We were also able to get together for an evening with many members of Jeff's family. He hadn't seen his parents in 3 years. It was great to catch up. It also happened to be Jeff's brother, Spencer's, birthday. Thanks so much, Shanda, for hosting this for us.
It is always a bitter sweet vacation when we go to Utah. There are so many friends we would love to visit when we're out there but the lack of time and resources makes this very difficult for us. We're so glad we were able to spend the time that we did with our family and friends and look forward to seeing many more of you next time!

Ethan's Birthday

My sweet baby boy turned 5. It's unbelievable how fast the time really does fly by. Ethan is the sweetest, most loving, hilarious little man. I cannot imagine my life without him! He is a little miniture Jeff and I'm so grateful he's such a big part of our family. Happy 5th Birthday Eaters!

One of my favorite pics of Ethan...taking a bath in Papa's sink

A present from his best friend, Maddie

Ethan got his own driver and golf bag this year so he can be more "official" when out on the golf course with his daddy!

Not bad form for a 5 year old....Tiger better watch out!! haha

This picture is hilarious! Apparently, he had just hit his last ball into the lake. He wasn't too happy about it.

Nothing can top golfing with daddy, but I made a small attempt by taking him on a date to the bowling ally
